The Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation has just reopened the Ralph Smith, Jr. Nursing Scholarship. These awards are for $1,250 and are open to all nursing students living and studying in Kern County.

Applications are available in the BC Allied Health Office and need to be completed by May 13, 2011. 

 The local chapter of American Business Womens Association has offered a new set of scholarships for tuition reimbursement. While the focus of this organization is on local business, they have decided they would like to award this to several Bakersfield College Nursing Students this year.

Each award will be up to $500.

Applications are available in the BC Allied Health Office and will need to be completed by April 30, 2011.
